India’s performance in 2022 Commonwealth Games

In the Commonwealth Games 2022 held in Birmingham, England from Thursday, 28th July to
Monday, 8th August, India has ranked in the 4th place follow by Australia, England and Canada . Being
at the 4th place, India has won 61 medals where 22 of them are gold, 16 sliver and 23 bronze.
Following is a list of gold, silver and bronze medals won in the CWG 2022
GOLD:
1) Saikhom Mirabai Chanu – Weightlifting
Our first Gold in the Commonwealth Games 2022 was won by the female weightlifter Mirabai Chanu
after she topped the 49 kj category.
2) Jeremy Lalrinnuga – Weightlifting
3) Achinta Sheuli – Weightlifting
4) Women’s four team lawn balls – Law Balls
This team consisted of Lovely Choubey, Rupa Rani Tirkey, Pinki and Nayanmoni Saikia
5) Men’s Team – Table tennis
